Hampton Ferry – Evesham Easter

Hampton Ferry (River Avon), Boat Lane, Evesham, WR11 4BP

Hampton Ferry was previously part of a medieval  Benedictine Monestry and makes a lovely setting near the River Avon for a traditional Easter Rally. The field has a gentle slope so levelling blocks might be required.  However, it is on high ground with a gravel track through the centre so we should be ok if a little soggy.  We will have hot cross buns on Friday and a visit from the Easter Bunny on Sunday.  On Easter Monday the venue traditionally holds an Easter Fun day to raise funds for a local hospice.  The venue has its own on site licensed Restaurant (Raphaels) which also serves Ice Creams, Teas, Coffees and cakes, eithere indoors, on the sun deck or in the riverside beer garden.  If you would like to explore Evesham, the Town Centre is a short stroll away.  You will also find a supermarket near the top of Boat Lane.
