Relaxing long weekend at Clare Priory; we hope to have shelters up for evening get togethers – this is weather dependent. Clare is a medieval wool town boasting a rich history to explore with something for everyone.
Some things to do in Clare & the surrounding area include: Clare Castle Country Park (Visit the ruins of the 11th-century castle and the Victorian railway station); Clare Ancient House Museum and St Peter & St Paul’s Church.
Not too far away is Long Melford with historic Kentwell Hall, and National Trust property Melford Hall.
The market town of Bury St Edmunds is approx 18 miles, Cambridge Park & Ride is a bit further – approx 28 miles
